About the role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Settlyo team and help us ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web platform.
You will be responsible for testing new features, identifying bugs, validating fixes, and making sure that new releases work correctly across different browsers and devices. You will work closely with developers and product team members throughout the development process.
Your responsibilities will include creating and executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, testing APIs, checking user flows, investigating unexpected behavior, and documenting bugs clearly. You will also help improve our testing processes and gradually introduce automated testing where it provides value.
As Settlyo is a growing product, you will have the opportunity to influence how quality assurance is organized and contribute directly to the stability and user experience of the platform.
Requirements
* Experience in software quality assurance or web application testing.
* Good understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.
* Experience with manual testing of web applications.
* Ability to create test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
* Experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
* Ability to identify, reproduce, document, and prioritize bugs.
* Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
* Basic understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and browser developer tools.
* Experience testing responsive web applications across different browsers and screen sizes.
* Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
* Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential edge cases and failure scenarios.
* Familiarity with Git and basic development workflows.
* Good communication skills and ability to work closely with developers and product managers.
* Attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
* Experience with automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium is an advantage.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution is an advantage.
* Experience working with Laravel, Vue.js, or similar web technologies is a plus.
* English proficiency sufficient for communication within an international development team.
